Interviews and Book

"Your book is stunning, Jaime. Thoughful, insightful, practical and poetic at the same time, honest, brave, and, unlike any other book on shamanism, laugh out loud funny! Thank you!"  -Jeanne

Millions of words have been written trying to explain shamanism. I'll choose not to explain it here. But I like the definition of a shaman as someone whose job it is to restore or maintain a healthy relationship between the seen and the unseen realms. The unseen is weave of faith, psychology, art and sheer Mystery.

In general I have found that there are two kinds of healing ceremonies: ones that take away toxins that are harming you, like ancestor work, extractions or other cleansings. Or there are ceremonies that re-connect you to beauty, power, protection, love or some other blessing, like soul retrievals, or power retrievals.

To discern whether I am the person to ask for a healing, check me out. Discern if I am an ego-maniac, a charlatan or new age hoo-hoo. Come to one of my open community drumming/ceremonial events. Talk to me. Or listen to what I say here or here or here. buy my  book here

I charge a fee for this work. In a very general sense, a simple ceremony can cost around $75. For a ceremony that is more complicated, the cost can go up. I offer a sliding fee to those who truly cannot pay.
